Auto = 0

Selects Request when in Multicast mode, Link when in Unicast mode

Link = 1

USB Connection Initiates once a decoder and encoder are communicating.

Multiple decoders can communicate with and have simultaneous USB control of the same encoder. All decoders automatically activate USB control of the encoder they switch to, and every decoder watching that encoder has USB control.

Request = 2

Selects Request when in Multicast mode, Link when in Unicast mode

only one encoder unit can have USB control at a time. In other words, only one decoder can communicate with the encoder at any given time. By default, the first decoder unit connected has USB control.
